Jing Hui graduated with an LL.B (Honours) degree from Multimedia University Malaya in 2010 and was invited to read in chamber at Messrs Soo Thien & Nashrah soon after.

She was admitted and enrolled as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaysia in June 2011 and continued to serve as a Legal-Assistant at Messrs Soo Thien Ming & Nashrah until May 2012 where she gained invaluable hands-on experience.

While taking up various responsibilities in sales matters, sale purchase, loan transactions and tenancy agreements, Jing Hui’s repertoire also includes coverage of loan documentation for major banking giants such as Public Bank, Maybank, CIMB Bank, HSBC Bank, UOB Bank as well as Alliance Bank.

Her critical thinking combined with her skilfulness in interpreting the law won her the opportunity to handle major projects by some of the most prominent GLCs and local conglomerate developers namely SP Setia, Gamuda Land and Sime Darby.

Jing Hui was headhunted to join Tahap Warisan Sdn. Bhd, a prestigious property development company as the Sales, Marketing cum Legal Department Manager, entrusted with managing the company’s legal affairs, property sales, licensing and approvals from authorities for property development projects.

Determined to make a name for herself, in February 2014 she founded Messrs Hui & Associates, primarily to offer conveyancing services for developer sales, sub-sale, tenancy agreement, estate and administration(will), as well as small claims matters.

With her vast experience and growing networks she took the bull by the horns, spearheading her expanding firm and subsequently re-establishing it as Messrs Farhana Hui & Co on 5th January 2015, which was then renamed to Messrs Jing Wani & Co on 11th July 2017.

Yvonne Low Win Kum

Yvonne started her career in the legal practice in 2010 specialising in corporate and commercial transactions, real estate regulatory compliance, private mergers and acquisitions.

Upon her return to Malaysia, the Cardiff University, UK graduate advised on project promoters, concessionaires, structure development for land developers and investors and real estate construction & financing.

Her involvement in various high-profile projects has made her well-rounded and highly experienced in handling domestic and foreign investors, government-linked and public listed companies in the real estate industry.

In 2014, Yvonne headed Legal and Corporate Affairs at F3 Capital Group and experienced handling complex organisation culture management, strategic planning and positioning, and was in partnership on new land banks.

She successfully handled many prominent corporate assignments that have pushed her critical analytical skills beyond her peers. Some distinctive corporate

  • Coordinating assets transfer exercise within the group of companies and to raise Twenty Million (RM20 Million) medium-term notes arranged by Kenanga Investment Bank Berhad;
  • Advising, drafting and coordinating offers to purchase and sale and purchase agreements related to public and private land tender excersisings;
  • Attending all negotiations meeting with government agencies or private entitites on privatisation projects for land banks owned by Government.
  • Formulating strategies and implementing investment proposals for new business development/ventures;
  • Formulating and strategizing internal procedures and forms to enhance the company’s transparency and accountability;
  • Managing all project transactional agreements from sale and purchase to end financing agreements;
  • Managing all tenancies, lease and enbloc sale related to group assets; and
  • Maintaining all shareholder records and transactions and custodian of all corporate records, Organising a system for corporate filings.

She then decided to join Messrs Jing Wani & Co as a partner in 2018 and headed the corporate division.

Nithiya Thiahhan

Nithiya graduated with LLB (Honours) degree from Multimedia University Malaysia in 2009 and was enrolled as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in July, 2010.

Soon after chambering and a brief attachement as a Legal Associate with Messrs Y S Lim & Ng, she furthered her career with Messrs KM Yee, Hasnah & Associates in 2011 where she was made to handle sale and purchase conveyancing matters, tenancy, perfection of transfer and charges for residential and commercial properties.

Her skillfullness in law interpretation earned her the trust to handle numerous loan documentations with some of Malaysia’s banking industry giants such as CIMB Bank, HSBC Bank, Hong Leong Bank and UOB Bank.

Nithiya was also in charge of liaising with top government agencies, ministerial offices and other relevant authorities regarding any issues pertaining to land enquiries and legal research.

She ventured into becoming partner with Messrs Teoh Chen Yee & Co in 2017 where she mainly handled conveyancing work, family and corporate law, wills and small claims related matters.

In May 2018, she decided to join Messrs Jing Wani & Co as a partner, continuing with her responsibilities in conveyancing matters, corporate and family law, wills and small claims.

Foong Chee Chong

Chee Chong graduated in applied science in 2004 from University Sains Malaysia; and in law in 2010 from Multimedia University, Malaysia and was later on admitted to the Malaysian Bar in 2011.

With over seven years of experience, he specialises in corporate and commercial law, banking and corporate finance, and foreign investment and mergers acquisitions; Chee Chong’s dynamic experience and versatility made him the adviser to a number of high profile joint ventures and shareholders agreements, IT and financing related agreements.

It was during his time with Ranhill Holdings Berhad that he gained extensive experience in the energy and water sector where he was tasked with tender documents, power purchase agreements, land leasing agreements, build operate-transfer agreements.

The diversity in this field of experience covers wide and diverse grounds, making him the top pick in handling multi-regional concession agreements with governments and private sectors from countries across the Asia and Australasia. His roles have afforded him the opportunity to be involved in key corporate assignments such as:-

  • Advising investments banks on Islamic financing by companies principally engaged in property investment and development, retail business, and infrastructure projects.
  • Advising, drafting, verifying, reviewing, and conducting legal due diligence in relation to a public listing at Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad.
  • Advising, drafting, verifying, reviewing and conducting legal due diligence in relation to the independent advice circular to shareholders with respect to a public listed company for an unconditional take-over offer.
  • Part of the legal due diligence team to advice, draft and review the sale and purchase agreement for board papers for internal restructuring prior to the listing of the world’s second biggest IPO for 2012.
  • Due diligence exercise for the acquisition of an insurance company.
  • Advising a foreign corporation in relation to the regulatory authorities’, guidelines, policies and requirements in obtaining the relevant approvals/permits/licenses to operate a manufacturing plant in Malaysia.

Besides being the external counsel to Messrs Jing Wani & Co, Chee Chong is also the legal counsel at Lavin Shared Services.

Nur Syafiqah graduated from Mara University of Technology (UiTM), Shah Alam in 2016 and immediately received an invitation to chamber with Messrs Adnan Rahim & Co where she experienced handling matters on conveyancing, sub-sale, developer projects, loans and corporate matters.

She was enrolled as an Advocates & Solicitors with the High Court of Malaya the same year before she joined Messrs Rarahain Sharif & Co as a Legal Associate in early 2017.

During her tenure, she was exposed to handle perfection of transfer and charge, sub-sale and loans; also gaining vast experience in Tenancy Agreement, Joint Venture Agreement and Lease Agreement with many reputable clients.

Her experiences in liaising with various government agencies, top ministerial offices and other relevant authorities in relation to land enquiries and conducting legal research has made her versatile and completely well-versed.

In July 2017, she embarked on her journey with Messrs Jing Wani & Co as a Legal Assistant in charge of conveyancing matters, including drafting sale and purchase agreements, perfection of transfer and charge, discharge of charge.
